The spectacular Ken Block Gymkhana videos have undoubtedly done the Ford Fiesta’s image a power of good, even if his front-mid-engine rally machine hardly shares a single nut or bolt with the road car in your local dealer.
However, sometimes image is everything, and first step in modifying a Fiesta to look like a rally hero is an appropriate set of alloy wheels – in this case from Barracuda Racing Wheels.
The competition-inspired 7.5×17-inch Karizzma cross-spoke wheel features a black „Pure Sports“ finish with red Trimline to perfectly compliment the black Fiesta and its red stripes and logos. This Trimline can be specified in any RAL colour, and adds 29 euro to the 229 euro basic cost of each wheel, which is paired with a 205/40R17 tyre.
The Barracuda Karizzma is currently available for a wide variety of cars in 8.0×18, 9.0×18, 8.5×19, 9.5×19 and 9.0×20-inch sizes. A 10.5×20-inch version will be added to the range in spring 2018.
For drivers who wish to further improve the looks and handling of their Fiesta, the KW Variant 1 coilover suspension kit (998 euro) lowers the ride height 55 mm and 50 mm front and rear respectively for a sportier and more purposeful appearance.
